Carnivale

This great new bar opened a few months ago on Whitechapel Road. Carnivale provides a creative space to chill out and make use of free WiFi during the day and in the evening enjoy the upcoming sounds of local bands. There are also cabaret evenings on the last day of every week, in fact there’s one on tonight! There is something on almost every night. The bar includes a cute restaurant where I recommend you try the scrumptious delight of Erdinger fried vegetables (immense!), it’s owned by a lovely young couple who have converted the building that was originally a church. I’ve only been a few times and they already know what drink I want before I get to the bar! There’s a real influence of nearby brick lane and shorditch in the design. The owners spent months collecting vintage furniture. My favourite part is the sinks in the toilets which are placed on vintage dressing tables. Take a look at the kooky website http://www.carnivale.co.uk/Home.html
