Blow up Hall

Blow up hall is a hotel that was inspired by cult art film ‘Blow up’, directed by Michelangelo Antonioni. When booking guests are asked to pick from a selection of colours, images and numbers in order to determine their spirit animal. The spirit animal connects them to an individual room. The rooms don’t have numbers and there is no reception arrea, instead guests are given an iphone that is set up to guide them to their room. The guests then become part of the art as the hotel is built around an art installation  displayed in the lobby of 2,400 CCTV images as caught on hidden cameras in the hotel.
